Thoughts on BST so far.

After years of toying with bst getting mad and quitting (exact count unkown) I really am enjoying it now.
24-28 has taken some time and had its share of bung puckering moments. Mischarming a slime 7 times success with 15 hp left and out of mp, linking, aggro, zoning with a sliver of life etc..

The lewt has been ok, traveling as I do with very few open slots I have been tossing way to many drops, I need to work on having an open inventory for sure.

The new OP levels are simply amazing, two weeks ago I completed the last OP i needed so I can now travel from Bastok anywhere quickly, comfortably and most of all safely. Case in point I was in korloka and got an invite to pt in the jungle, ran out op'd to lower elshimo and boogied to Kaz. Pt invite was a bust (apparently a few member didn't want a bst, the leader then lied and told me he was leaving for an LS event and one pt member sent me a tell explaining since he thought it was BS). So I ran in changed to blm, warped, changed again and OP'd to quifm. 20 minutes of dicking around but I had hit the far corners of the world and came back.

I think I have been lucky so far, a /sea every hour or so has told me that I am the only bst in the level range on the server or at least not anon so no low level camp drama.

Mmmm.... Chain 4 solo for near 200 a kill at 27 what else can I say other than its only gonna happen once every two hours ^^.

In non bst related news:

Our COP static is under way, we went and farmed up items for 4-2 fight before finding out they are on the AH now since update .... Good times tho my co-farmers were new to the Rivern areas so it was a learning experience for all.

Still semi debating the pros-cons of a server jump mostly cons atm.

If you think its good now then you're going to really be amazed in another few levels. The big trick to bst, imho, is learning how to handle a bad situation. First time I leveled bst I panicked constantly and died often. Just keeping your cool and being aware of your surroundings makes loads of difference. That you'll get with experience if you haven't already.

Another tip, there are some levels of bst that are a grind. Sometimes there just isn't a good camp with the appropriate mob layout. You can try switching camps but sometimes you just have to suck it up and grind through that level. Most zones/camps are good for two or three levels and you'll learn that xp is slow and dangerous at first, sweet and fast midstream and slow and safe by the end of the zone's usefulness. Around 31 you'll see that in Qufim or Korro. Just keep up what you're doing. Try new things, you'll be 75 in no time.

Grats on making it this far. The tough part is over. It only gets easier from here on out.
